With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Yudenia López Martín is a trusted expert in speech therapy, special education, and early intervention for children with autism, language disorders, and learning challenges. Educated in Cuba, she earned a Doctorate in Pedagogy, a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), and a Master’s in Educational Research, along with a degree in Special Education. She has served as a university professor in both undergraduate and graduate programs, publishing research on early literacy, language intervention, and learning difficulties prevention.

In the United States, she works in school and clinical environments, providing families with comprehensive evaluations, evidence-based therapy, and individualized guidance. She is certified as an SLP by the Florida Department of Health and as an ESE/Mathematics teacher by the Florida Department of Education.

In the United States, she has worked as a speech-language pathologist in school and clinical settings, providing assessment, treatment and guidance to families of children with autism, intellectual disabilities, language disorders and special educational needs. What does the Comprehensive Developmental Assessment include?

The evaluation consists of four phases carried out over three days:

Parent Interview (Via Zoom) - Medical history and concerns.
Neurofunctional Evaluation - Brain mapping (QEEG), neurodevelopmental scales, neurological physical examination.
Consultation with the Nutritionist - Biomedical and metabolic evaluation.
Delivery of Results and Action Plan - Report with findings and recommendations.

CareCredit is available to finance the initial evaluation.

What biomedical tests can help my child?

Depending on the case, we can recommend:

Urine Organic Acid Test (OAT Test) - Evaluates neurotransmitters and intestinal dysbiosis.
Heavy Metals Hair Analysis - Detects lead, mercury and aluminum toxicity.
Food Intolerance Testing - Determines hidden sensitivities to certain foods.
Complete Stool Examination - Evaluates microbiota and digestion.
