Primitive Reflexes - The Basis of Neurological Development
This video explains what primitive reflexes are, what their initial function is and why they should be integrated. It highlights their influence on behavior, learning, emotional regulation and motor skills.
Rooting Reflex
In this video, we explain: The role of the rooting reflex during the neonatal stag, how it supports early feeding and spatial orientation, why lack of proper integration can affect oral language development, speech clarity, and sensory processing.
Sucking Reflex
In this video, we explain: The importance of the sucking reflex for newborn feeding and survival, why proper integration is crucial for oral language development and speech clarity, how it supports sensory regulation and fine motor organization of facial muscles.
Snout reflex
In this video, we explain: What the snout reflex is and why it is considered a primitive oral reflex, how its persistence can interfere with oral language development, feeding efficiency, and facial motor control, why early detection and integration are important for children with autism, ADHD, and developmental delays.
Asymmetric Tonic Neck Reflex (ATNR)
The ATNR reflex, a postural reflex that appears at birth, is activated when a baby turns its head to one side. If it persists, it can negatively affect writing, coordination, and learning.
Symmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex (STNR)
The STNR reflex emerges between 6 and 9 months of age and plays a key role in preparing babies for crawling. Proper integration is essential for: Postural control and balance, coordinated eye movement and vision skills, handwriting and fine motor development
Spinal Galant Reflex
The Spinal Galant reflex is a primitive reflex present from birth that helps prepare babies for crawling and coordinated movement. It is triggered by stimulation along the side of the spine, which causes the trunk to bend toward that side. When this reflex does not integrate properly, children may experience: Restlessness and hyperactivity, attention and focus problems often associated with ADHD, postural challenges that affect sitting, walking, and learning in the classroom
Moro Reflex
The Moro reflex is a primitive reflex present from birth that functions as an early protective response to sudden changes in the environment. If the Moro reflex is not fully integrated, children may experience: Exaggerated stress and startle responses, sensory hypersensitivity (overreacting to lights, sounds, or touch), increased anxiety and emotional instability, difficulties with self-regulation and focus
Babinski reflex
The Babinski reflex is a primitive plantar reflex observed when the sole of the foot is stimulated in infants. While normal in babies, persistence beyond age 2 may indicate neurological immaturity. In children with autism, ADHD, or developmental delays, an unintegrated Babinski reflex may cause: Difficulties in walking and gait development, problems with balance and postural stability, altered tactile sensitivity in the feet, affecting motor coordination and sensory regulation

Testimonials

They trust us, thanks to our results.

We traveled from Madrid to Miami to do a 6-week multidisciplinary program for Alexis to achieve his developmental milestones on time. We have seen spectacular progress in many areas almost from the very first moment. Totally grateful for this opportunity. I really like your work models because everything is integrated in one space and with freedom.

We have done the Primitive Reflex Program in person and the changes that my daughter has shown in 40 days are spectacular. She is more focused, her expressive language has improved a lot and her receptive language as well. Super happy with the experience and the therapists who see my daughter. She never wants to leave the center. Recommended for your children to move forward.
