Origin and Evolution of Developing Brains
Developing Brains was founded from a mother’s love and determination to find the best opportunities for her child. What started as a personal journey has evolved into a center dedicated to supporting children with autism, ADHD, and learning challenges.
From Mother to Founder: A Dream Come True
Developing Brains was created by Liudmila Guas, a Nurse Practitioner and, above all, the mother of a child with autism. Her personal journey began with the search for therapies that could truly help her son grow, communicate, and connect with the world in a meaningful way.
Through this search, she discovered that what was missing was a complete approach—bringing together science, intensive therapies, and family support to create real and lasting change. From that need, Developing Brains was born, a place where families can find the help and hope she once needed for her own child.
The Birth of Developing Brains
In 2023, with passion and the support of a team of professionals in neurodevelopment, Developing Brains opened its doors in Miami, Florida. Since the very beginning, our mission has been clear: to provide therapies based on science, adapted to each child, because every child is unique.

The evaluation consists of four phases carried out over three days:
- Parent Interview (Via Zoom) - Medical history and concerns.
- Neurofunctional Evaluation - Brain mapping (QEEG), neurodevelopmental scales, neurological physical examination.
- Consultation with the Nutritionist - Biomedical and metabolic evaluation.
- Delivery of Results and Action Plan - Report with findings and recommendations.
