Liudmila Guas

Born in Havana, Cuba, Liudmila Guas began her career in healthcare by earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2004. After moving to Miami in 2005, her path shifted as she discovered her true calling: supporting children with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental challenges.

Graduating with honors from Miami Dade College in Nursing, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Medicine specialty. Today, she is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) by the Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Inspired by her son’s journey with special needs, Liudmila expanded her training in biomedical therapies, functional medicine, and neurorehabilitation. She is an active member of the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS) and holds certifications in immunology, metabolism, environmental medicine, gastrointestinal health, and nutrition. In 2023, she also completed advanced training in qEEG Brain Mapping.

As both a mother and a professional, Liudmila has built Developing Brains with a vision: to create an integrative, evidence-based therapy model that combines science, compassion, and personalized care. Her mission is to bring families hope, effective strategies, and measurable results that transform lives.

Testimonials

They trust us, thanks to our results.

We traveled from Madrid to Miami to do a 6-week multidisciplinary program for Alexis to achieve his developmental milestones on time. We have seen spectacular progress in many areas almost from the very first moment. Totally grateful for this opportunity. I really like your work models because everything is integrated in one space and with freedom.

We have done the Primitive Reflex Program in person and the changes that my daughter has shown in 40 days are spectacular. She is more focused, her expressive language has improved a lot and her receptive language as well. Super happy with the experience and the therapists who see my daughter. She never wants to leave the center. Recommended for your children to move forward.

I love the Homeschooling service, I have seen a lot of progress and the best thing is that he can do homeschooling and therapies at the same time.
